CHRISTIAN RECORD COVERS

It’s been said that the Lord works in strange and wondrous ways. And perhaps in no stranger or more wondrous way than in the followers He ‘chooses’ to communicate His message. People like Pat Robertson come to mind.

But for sheer aesthetic brilliance, it’s hard to compete with the collection of Christian singers and musicians that Jehovah foisted on an unsuspecting public during the 1950’s and 60’s. A cavalcade of some of the most awkward, fashion-challenged and repressed looking believers the Good Lord could locate. Zero charisma and enough polyester to cover the surface of the sun.

If you’re a fan of the genre, you’ve probably seen some of these before. If not, you’re in for some perfectly chaste and totally inhibited fun. Just as Yahweh wanted it.
